EPCAP tonight + Patrick O'Dell & the Echo Park Art Walk tomorrow!!

Tonight at Origami Vinyl...well it's business as usual. But if you're still looking for some fun, it's just down the road...

Tonight is the opening for the Echo Park Community Art Project. The EPCAP consists of an exhibition, free art workshops, and the distribution of Art Survival Kits, collectively aimed at enriching the Echo Park community through arts education and creating a forum for community members to display and experience visual art together. The exhibition will feature artworks by established Echo Park artists, local youth, and non-professional community members alike.

Join us at Sancho Gallery (1549 Sunset Blvd.) tonight from 7-10PM to celebrate the event! Your friendly neighbor-homies Sean & Matt from this quaint little shop named Origami Vinyl will be spinning records along with Mahssa Taghinia (Finders Keepers) & Chris Ziegler (LA Record).

Free workshops, open to all ages, will be held the weekend of May 14-15 in conjunction with the exhibition and will include interactive tours, art making, and creative writing seminars. More details available here

All artworks featured in the exhibition will be available for purchase, with 100% of the proceeds going towards EPCAP’s Art Survival Kits.
