Boy, are you guys in for a treat, because we have the extremely talented Owl Paws (Urban Scandal) coming in to play for you atop the Origami Vinyl loft at 7pm.
Usually, most people would roll their eyes when you say the words "folk music," but the guys from Owl Paws are doing it the right way. Whats refreshing about the composition of their music is that they take the traditional folk sound and mix it up by adding lyrics and instrumentation reminiscent of some of your favorite emo bands, which will help bring the inner angsty teen out of you.
Below is a track off of their new album "Carry On" titled "Singing Strong," and I dare you to not get a little nostalgic listening to it.
